Why Reselling is the best Side Hustle
I’ve written many many different side hustles for you guys to read. You guys obviously clicked on this article because you might be getting into reselling and wanting to make a couple extra bucks.
Reselling can be done at any age, with small capital, and can be risk free. NOTHING beats the return I have seen from reselling than any comparable side hustle.
How easy is it to get started?
Although you won’t be able to grasp everything at the very beginner, the concept of reselling is very simple: buy a sought after item, sell at a higher price making this something extremely easy to get started in. You don’t need an education or prior knowledge, a drive is important.
As time goes on you will learn more and more to make your life easier, make you more money, and much much more. Even more reason for you to get started sooner.
How much capital do I need?
How ever much you’re comfortable with. If you are something with already a stable income, you might be able to fork out some more money compared to a high schooler with only a couple hundred to start with. However, whether you are the latter or former, both can easily make money.
The more money you are able to spend on items to resell, the more money you can potentially make. This is a great way to build up capital if you’re not starting out with much.
A credit card is also something that can extremely useful, but a double edged sword. You need to be someone more mature and have a good understanding of money management to make sure you don’t get caught up in bills.
Best way to get started
The best way to get into reselling in my personal experience is through Discord reselling groups known as “Cook Groups”. There is a lot of information circulating through this groups with many experienced resellers amongst the staff teams in these groups ready to help you out.
Note: I was not paid by ANY of these groups to include them here. This is all MY own personal opinion based on my own experiences in each group.
These groups not only give you a community of members, but something really important is guidance. Like I have said before, reselling can be confusing at the start and there’s no need to rush in but being apart some of these groups really do help jump start your reselling journey!
Now, it is a possible to keep reselling very risk free with the implementation of free returns in many stores. However, as you spend more and more time in the world of reselling you will often find yourself at a crossroad with potential flips with no returns and such.
Another risk I find is that the younger crowd were really never taught to manage a credit card and get stuck having to pay more than they have. Don’t let this be you.
Scams, this is more common than you think. A lot of it is you live and you learn, don’t be said if it happens to you but it is something to consider.
Don’t let reselling overtake your main job, keep it as a side hustle. There is no consistent income with this. You have good months, and bad ones. To me it’s not good enough to make a main job. Although there are those that do, I really find it too risky on solely relying on an income from reselling.

I hope this article helped you get a little better idea about reselling and getting into it. This is something that I would recommend anyone at any age to start on, get in while you are still able to.
