OnlyFans Adding NFT Profile Pictures
A very unexpected announcement from OnlyFans, an online subscription platform for adult content, they have announced that they have released a feature allowing users to display a verified NFT collection as their profile picture. With more and more social media platforms adding this feature, OnlyFans is definitely an unexpected one.
Intel’s Cryptocurrency Mining Chip
Slated for release later this year, this exciting new chip from Intel may be total game-changer for the future of cryptocurrency mining. Intel’s senior vice president has stated, “We expect that our circuit innovations will deliver a blockchain accelerator that has over 1000x better performance per watt than mainstream GPUs for SHA-256 based mining…” Not only is this chip extremely powerful, but it also may help the major environmental impact of cryptocurrency mining.
McDonalds’ New Venture in NFTs and the Metaverse
Rumors have been flying around stating that McDonalds has recently filed for a trademark covering the virtual food and beverage sector. We have already previously seen McDonalds dive into NFTs with the release of their McRib NFT, this news is not too surprsing. So far we don’t know much of McDonald’s future plans but a big rumor being that they will be
“operating a virtual restaurant featuring actual and virtual goods, operating a virtual restaurant online featuring home delivery.”
